About this tea: this clonal steeps up fragrant, bright and brisk - with a hint of sweetness. Similar in character to Ceylon.
Ingredients: organic Indian black tea
Hailing from the beautiful Blue Mountains of southern India, teas from this lesser-known region have historically been used in tea blends, but are now growing in popularity in their own right. They make a wonderful addition to your tea repertoire. With similar character to a Ceylon tea, you will find this pure clonal* Nilgiri full-bodied, fragrant, and flavorful. 100% USDA Certified Organic.
*"Clonal" refers to tea plants that are not grown from seed, but are hybridized through controlled breeding of plants. These plants have been bred to produce specific desirable qualities and are highly sought-after.
Steeping Instructions: Pour 6 oz. heated water (208-212˚F) over 1 teaspoon herbs and steep 3-5 minutes. Remove tea leaves and enjoy. Re-steep as desired.
